What document formats does DocuAsk support?

We currently support PDFs, DOCX, PPTX, and Excel files. We're working on adding more formats, so let us know if there's one you'd like to see!

Do my documents need to meet any specific formatting to use DocuAsk?

No, there are no strict formatting rules to follow. We handle a wide range of PDF layouts as well as scanned documents (OCR support). If you encounter any challenges or have questions, our feedback section is always open for you. We're here to help!

How does DocuAsk's document comparison feature work?

Our comparison feature uses a smart language model to sift through and compare the context of your selected documents. It's like having a super-powered assistant to spot the key differences and similarities for you.

Is DocuAsk multilingual?

Yes, indeed! DocuAsk can understand and answer your questions in multiple languages. We support approximately 30 languages, similar to other leading LLMs on the market. Whether it's for work or study, we've got you covered.

What's the size limit for documents I can upload?

The file size limit depends on your subscription plan:

  • Quantum Quill Plan: 100MB per file

  • Archive Alchemist Plan: 50MB per file

How secure are my documents with DocuAsk?

Your document's security is a top priority for us. We host our models on Amazon Bedrock and employ industry-standard or better data segmentation techniques to keep your data as safe as possible.

Does DocuAsk offer a free trial?

Yes! You can try our awesome product completely free for 7 days to decide whether it's right for you, risk free.

Can I modify my plan after I've started using it?

Of course. You can upgrade, downgrade or cancel your plan at any time. Just click on the 'Manage my subscription' button on your subscription dashboard.

What happens if I reach my plan's limit?

You'll be notified on our app and be given the option to seamlessly upgrade your plan.

What is DocuAsk's Cancellation Policy?

You can cancel your subscription at any time, hassle-free! If you cancel during your free trial, you will not be charged. Otherwise, your subscription will remain active until the end of your billing cycle.

How does billing work?

Billing right now is a simple subscription. You can cancel at any time.

What payment methods do you accept?

We work with Stripe to accept all major credit cards and offer you the most secure payment processing available.

Technical Questions

How does DocuAsk process my documents?

DocuAsk uses a specialized RAG (Retrieval Augmented Generation) pipeline that processes documents optimized for the best retrieval for question answering and other research processes. Our agentic approach allows for multiple research steps before providing an answer, unlike traditional RAG systems that operate in a single turn.

Can I use DocuAsk with my existing document management system?

Currently, DocuAsk operates as a standalone platform. You'll need to upload your documents directly to DocuAsk to analyze them. We're exploring integration options for the future.

How accurate are DocuAsk's answers?

DocuAsk's accuracy depends on the quality and content of your documents. Our advanced AI models are designed to provide the most accurate answers based on the information contained in your documents. If you receive an "Insufficient Sources" message, try rephrasing your question to better match the terminology in your documents.

Can I export the insights I get from DocuAsk?

Currently, you can copy and save the answers and insights you receive. We're working on more robust export features for future updates.

How do I create an account?

You can sign up for DocuAsk using either your email address or Google authentication. Both methods provide secure, password-less access to the platform.

How do I delete my account?

To delete your account, please contact our support team through the Intercom chat (located in the bottom right corner of any DocuAsk page). Clearly state that you want to delete your account, and our team will assist you with the process.
