Authentication Methods

DocuAsk offers two authentication methods for accessing your account:

Google Authentication

You can also use your Google account to access DocuAsk:

  1. Sign up/Log in: Click the "Sign in with Google" option

  2. Account linking: Your Google account will be linked to your DocuAsk profile

  3. Streamlined access: Quickly access DocuAsk without remembering additional credentials

Email Authentication

You can sign up and log in to DocuAsk using your email address:

  1. Sign up: Enter your email address and follow the verification process

  2. Log in: Use your email address to receive a magic link for secure access

  3. Password-less security: DocuAsk uses a secure link sent to your email rather than traditional passwords

Account Settings

DocuAsk offers minimal account settings to keep the experience streamlined and focused on document analysis:

  1. Authentication management: Choose between email or Google authentication

  2. Subscription management: View and modify your subscription plan

Account Deletion

If you wish to delete your DocuAsk account:

  1. Contact support: Message the support team through Intercom (chat icon in the bottom right corner)

  2. Request deletion: Clearly state that you want to delete your account

  3. Verification: The support team may verify your identity before proceeding

  4. Confirmation: You'll receive confirmation when your account has been deleted

Data Privacy

When managing your account, keep in mind:

  1. Document retention: Your uploaded documents are associated with your account

  2. Subscription data: Your subscription information is stored for billing purposes

  3. Usage information: Basic usage statistics may be collected to improve the service

Best Practices

To maintain account security:

  1. Email access: Ensure you maintain access to the email associated with your account

  2. Secure devices: Only log in from secure, trusted devices

  3. Log out: Remember to log out when using shared computers

  4. Contact support: Reach out through Intercom if you notice any suspicious activity
